In the 2015 general election, residents in Unincorporated County Islands will have the opportunity to vote on whether they would like to annex into an eligible city or remain unincorporated. This webpage is for residents who live in County Islands which are eligible to annex into Sandy City. It is intended to answer questions these residents may have about how annexation may affect them, and allow these residents to compare how their taxes and fees may change with annexation.
Here you find a series of FAQs regarding the proposed annexation, a taxes and fees calculator, and the map below indicating who will vote on annexation in November 2015.
If you have any questions regarding annexation which are not addressed on this webpage, please call Korban Lee, Assistant City Administrator for Sandy City, at 801-568-7156 or you can click here to email.
