“Women’s Safety” Presentation - Sponsored by the Sandy Police Department
This training will educate females 12 and older on how to live safely by giving suggestions on ways to reduce your risk of being a victim. It will cover topics such as dating and social safety, rape, driving safety, walking safety, home safety, crime prevention, and what to do if you are the victim of a crime. Heartsaver First Aid / CPR & First Aid Classes

Community Emergency Response Training (C.E.R.T.)
A seven week course designed to teach the community how to help themselves, their family, and neighbors in a major disaster. The last session of the course is a mock disaster where the skills learned are put into practice. To register call 801.568.2944 or in person at Fire Station 31. Classes are free for Sandy Residents! Classes fill up early.

A.S.A.P. Self Defense & Safety Awareness
Parents are welcome to join the class. Enhances confidence, discipline, and self esteem. Curriculum progresses from beginner to advanced as students advance in rank. Students learn defense against bullies and strangers. The class provides family fun and fitness in a safe and supportive
environment. A $10 material fee is charged each session (belt, certification, and handouts). For more information call 801.597.5707.

Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Salsa Lessons
