The mission of the national league of cities is to promote cities as centers of opportunity, leadership, and governance. The National League of Cities works in partnership with state municipal leagues in advocating for cities of all sizes at the national level.
U.S. Conference of Mayors

The U.S. Conference or Mayors is the official non-partisan organization representing cities with populations of 30,000 or more. Its primary purpose is to promote nationally, effective policies for urban and suburban areas, strengthen federal-city relationships, and ensure that federal policy meets urban needs.
Sandy City also uses other lobbyists and consultants as needs arise to help with issues specific to Sandy.
