Sandy Youth City Council

The Sandy Youth City Council is a group of high school students throughout Sandy that participates in political, social and humanitarian activities. Their goal is to serve the community as well as learn about government and have fun doing it.

The youth council meets every other Tuesday throughout the school year. During these times, members engage in activities such as:

• Feeding the homeless at Salt Lake's Rescue Mission
• Observing the Sandy City Counsel at work
• Serving local retirement homes
• Social get-togethers
• Assembling humanitarian kits for disaster victims
• ...and much more!
