See a sky full of hot air balloons at the 2009 Sandy Balloon Festival. The sunrise balloon launch happens between 6:30-8:00 am at Storm Mountain Park, 11400 South 1000 East, directions. The Saturday evening balloon glow begins around 8:00 pm, at the South Towne Promenade in front of Sandy City Hall, 10000 South 175 West. Public balloon rides are not being offered.
Bring the whole family to see the balloons fly and at dusk on Saturday enjoy food and entertainment and the glow of the balloons in the night sky.
