Sandy City Citizen Corps Council & Local Emergency Planning Committee

The Sandy City Citizen Corps Council meets regularly to inform Sandy residents about the city's CERT, Neighborhood Watch, Volunteers in Police Service and Public Safety programs.

The Sandy City Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) also prepares the community for emergencies. Primarily the Committee tracks and alerts citizens of hazardous materials; however, it has taken an "all-hazards" approach so that subjects of preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation associated with any type of diasater of emergency are discussed.

For more information on the Citizen Corp Council or LEPC contact Sandy City's Emergency Management Coordinator, Ken Kraudy at 568-7279
