Apply for a Job

Sandy City only accepts applications for positions that are currently being recruited for. If you are interested in a position that is not currently open, you can fill out a Job Interest Card and you will be notified when the position comes open.

To apply for an open position, you must submit a Sandy City Application. You are also welcome to submit a resume. 

They are several options for submitting an application. These are listed below.  Please note: Unless the position is Open Until Filled, applications must be received by the Human Resources Office by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date.  If applying online, the application must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date.  We cannot accept applications that are submitted late.

• Apply Online - available for most jobs.
  **(Please be aware that you can not save information on the online application and come back to it later.  In addition, if you stop working on the application for longer than 20 minutes it will time out and you will have to begin again.)
• Application Form 1 - Print and complete manually.
• Application Form 2 - Click in the blanks to type in your information, then print it out.
• Obtain an application from the Sandy City Human Resources Office.

If you are applying for a Police Officer or Animal Services Officer position, you will also need to complete an addendum.
