Apply for a Job

To apply for an open position, you must submit a Sandy City Application. You are also welcome to submit a resume. Sandy City only accepts applications for positions currently being recruited for. If you are interested in a position not currently open, you may fill out a Job Interest Card and you will be notified when the position comes open.

There are several ways to submit an application. These are listed below. Please note: Unless the position is Open Until Filled, applications must be received by the Human Resources Office or submitted online by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date. We cannot accept late applications.

• Apply Online - available for most jobs. 
  **(You can not save information on the online application and come back to it later. In addition, if you stop working on the application for longer than 20 minutes it will time out and you will have to begin again.)
  
  
• Application Form - Click in the blanks to type in your information, then print it out or print and complete manually.
  
  
• Obtain an application from the Sandy City Human Resources Office.

When applying for Police Officer/Auxiliary Officer you will be asked to complete the Police Officer Addendum.
When applying for Animal Services Officer you will be asked to complete the Animal Services Officer Addendum.
