Returned Checks

  • Returned checks incur a mandatory $20.00 service charge.

  • Any returned check not cleared within 30 days results in:

    •  An added Class "C" misdemeanor charge and

    •  The issuance of a cash-only arrest warrant.
  • Payment to clear a returned check must be: cash, certified check, money order or approved credit card.

  • Future payments on such cases must also be: cash, certified check, money order or approved credit card.
