Mandatory Appearance Citations

If your citation has an appearance date and time listed, it is considered a mandatory appearance citation and you must appear for an arraignment. Unless you receive a notice in the mail from the court with an new date and time, you must appear at the date and time listed on the citation.

In Sandy, failure to appear for an arraignment is a Class "C" misdemeanor offense and it will result in the court issuing a warrant of arrest.  If the mandatory appearance offense is a traffic violation, your driving privileges will also be suspended.

Do not be late for court!  If you are late, you may not be admitted and will have to reschedule or may have a warrant issued.
