Zoning Violations

The Community Development Department is responsible for the enforcement of various building code, business regulatory, and zoning ordinances.  Generally, citations issued for violations in these areas require an appearance before a judge. 

Individuals cited for a violation in one of these areas should have an appearance date listed on the citation.  They should appear in court at the date and time indicated on the citation unless they receive notice from the court of a different date and time.

All other individuals should contact the court between 5-14 days after receiving the citation to schedule an appearance.
