Personal Safety and Protection against Crime
Learn how to use street sense on foot, while jogging, on wheels, on buses and on Trax. Learn what personal safety is and how you can increase your personal safety. Protect yourself at home and put safety first. Also, learn what to do if you are a victim of a crime.
Child Safety / Stranger Danger
Children tend to have a natural trust in other people, particularly adults. Children also tend to crave attention and fear punishment, therefore making them even more vulnerable to the attention and the demands of a stranger. This training coarse is geared toward teaching kids how to be streetwise.
Senior Safety
This training will educate the older adult on how to live successfully and safely during their golden years. It will cover topics such as con artists, mail fraud and scams, alcohol, drugs, driving, home safety, abuse, crime prevention and personal safety.
Identity Theft Prevention
Don't let someone steal your identity! Protect yourself and your family from the fastest growing crime in the United States.
Questions that will be address are: What is identity Theft? Who are the victims? How does identify theft happen? How do thieves get the information? Who are these criminals? And how to protect yourself.
Home Security
Get recommendations on how to protect your home through proper doors, locks, windows, landscaping, lighting, and alarms. Also, tips on how to stay safe when you are home, and how to secure your home when leaving for a short or extended amount of time.
Vehicle Burglary and Theft Prevention
Learn how to protect your car and/or trunk from theft and burglary. Also, tips to make you less vulnerable to car jacking, the top stolen cars, and the history of car theft.
Robbery Prevention
Learn the environmental factors that may help reduce the potential for robbery, what to expect if you are robbed and how to survive and armed robbery.
Workplace Violence and Crime Prevention
Learn about traits of a violent employee, statistics of workplace violence, who perpetrates workplace violence, factors, early warning signs and indicators involved in becoming violent in the workplace. Also learn how to prevent, reduce and eliminate workplace violence. Topics include; workplace crime prevention tips, how to prevent office theft, common trouble spots and how to keep company information inside company walls.
Shoplifting and Employee Theft Prevention
In this training session you will learn the magnitude of the shoplifting problem in America, how to train your store personnel, tools of the trade, what to watch for, and prevention techniques you can use.
