Traffic Problems

To notify the Sandy City Police Department Traffic Division of a traffic problem, please fill out the form below as completely as possible. Your comments will be forwarded to the Traffic Division and will be reviewed for possible solutions.

Please be aware that because of the dramatic increase in vehicular traffic and, subsequently, the dramatic increase in reports of traffic problems, it is not always possible for the department to respond to a traffic problem by "running radar." Often, other solutions may be sought. Traffic problems are also triaged by the number of citizens affected and the dangers caused by any given problem.

If you wish to speak with an officer directly regarding your traffic concerns, please call the police department during normal business hours at (801) 568-7200 or contact police dispatch by calling (801) 840-4000.

This form is strictly to provide information about areas or problems that need additional traffic law enforcement. If you are reporting a traffic crash or any other type of crime that requires investigation, please contact police dispatch by calling (801) 840-4000.
