Operations Division

Provides overall services and support to the residents of Sandy. These services include: maintenance of our waterlines, preservation of wells to insure drinking water quality, cross-connection control and street light maintenance. Also, responds to citizen inquiries, complaints and requests regarding drainage and irrigation.

Engineering Division

This division manages and coordinates the planning, design and construction of capital improvements projects, as well as inspecting and review of all new developments in the City. They are also responsible to oversee the City's water rights, as well as involvement in irrigation companies with which the City owns shares.

Support Services Division

Provides overall support to the department. Performs research, analysis and general management of budgets, purchasing, programs, and operations. Within this division is the GIS (Geographic Information System) support, locating of utilities, mapping, GPS data gathering, drafting, and front office support.
