Traffic

5-1-1 is a free phone number that offers statewide travel information on traffic, public transit, road conditions, Lake Powell ferry services and links to surrounding states. Similar to 911 for emergencies, or 411 for directory assistance, those who travel in Utah can dial 511 to access current travel information. Those wishing to access the system from outside the state can call 1-866-511-UTAH (8824)

CommuterLink provides travelers with the information they need to make informed decisions about the routes they take. CommuterLink gives travelers access to traffic information at home, at work, and on the road. CommuterLink information is communicated through the 511 Travel Information Line, electronic roadway signs, highway advisory radio, the Internet, and the news media. Access CommuterLink at http://commuterlink.utah.gov.
