GRANITE TANK REPLACEMENT PROJECT
The top soil has been spread on the top of the tank and the landscaper is installing the sprinkler system. The plantings should be completed by the end of the week. The asphalt for the driveway and parking areas is scheduled for this week. Rocky Mountain Power is scheduled to set the transformer on November 17th, which will give us power to the booster station. At our next construction meeting, we will schedule the startup and final walk-through.

8680 South Reconstruction (State St - 700 E)
Phases I and II are complete; Phase III (450 E. - 650 E) is on hold until funding is available.
Automall Dr./State St. Traffic Signal
A traffic signal will be installed at this intersection plus the entrance to the apartment complex will be reconstructed. Work will begin this fall with final paving and signal operations slated for spring 2010.
11400 South Freeway Interchange
UDOT is adding an improved east-west artery with a new freeway interchange at 11400 South. The project will include new merging lanes on I-15 between 10600 South and 12300 South. 11400 South will be widened from State Street to Bangerter Highway. Starting in mid-summer 2009, the project will close one lane of I-15 in each direction for up to 10 months, though it won't be completely finished until late fall 2010.
1300 East Project
Improvements include raised medians, LED street lighting, landscaping, backfacing walls, signals, intersection improvements, and horse culvert at Dimple Dell Park. The project is currently funded from the northern City boundary to 11000 S. During the upcoming winter, work will shift to the section of road between 8600 S. - 9400 S. Staker Paving is the general contractor with work planned for completion by Fall 2010. For additional information and drawings, click here.
Sego Lily Dr./Centennial Pkwy. Concrete Repair
Damaged road panels will be replaced in Spring 2010.
700 East Widening, Carnation Dr. (10095 S.) to 11400 South
Road to be widened to 5 lanes with raised medians and bike lanes. Project to begin late fall 2009.
1000 East 8000 South
Road work is complete. Currently bidding for retaining wall to be installed on the east side of the road in the park strip.
