Granite Tank Replacement Project
The tank is taking form with seventy percent of the footings placed and the walls and floor taking form. The pipe in Little Cottonwood Road is installed and the connection in Wasatch Drive is being completed. The road is scheduled to have asphalt within two weeks. The road will be back open at that time. A detour for traffic has been set up through North Little Cottonwood Road. It will be open for local access. Historic Sandy City Street Light Project
This project is now complete. We are at Rocky Mountain Power's mercy to make the final power connections. Project closeout will be completed once all the lights have been powered up and tested.
Zone 5 Water Line Project
We are still waiting for the testing to take place by Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy. The project is now complete with the exception of the testing.
Middle Fork of Dry Creek Project
The contractor completed installation of the 36-inch diameter concrete pipe in Seven Springs Drive and continues with the installation of pipe in Wasatch Boulevard. There are a couple of hundred feet of pipeline left to install and they have yet to convert the septic system over to the sewer collection facility. They are hoping to obtain asphalt this next week to start the asphalting on Seven Springs Drive.

9400 South, RR Tracks - 500 West
Road reconstruction to begin August 2008 and continue through October 2008.
8680 South Reconstruction (State St - 700 E)
Reconstruct most of roadway to include sidewalks and storm drain and pipe irrigation ditch. Work to be done in 3 phases: Phase I (State St - 90 E.), Phase II (280 E. - 450 E.) and Phase III (450 E. - 650 E.). Phase I to begin fall '08; Phase II scheduled for Spring '09.
I-15 10600 South Freeway Beautification
Local governments project with UDOT. Enhancements include additional landscaping, ornamental facing, and additional cobble rock and gravel mulch areas. Scheduled to begin summer 2008.
Automall Drive Extension
Roadway will be extended SE from Costco to State St. Canal work began November '07; road work scheduled for completion in July 2008.
11400 South Freeway Interchange
On Hold (UDOT).
1300 East Project
Improvements include raised medians w/ street lighting and landscaping, backfacing walls, signals, intersection improvements, horse culvert. Federal funding through Transportation Bill. Project currently funded from northern City boundary to 10600 S. Seeking additional funding for remainder of road. Work to begin fall 2008.
10000 S. Centennial Parkway Intersection
Redesign of intersection. Work to begin spring 2009.
