The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body charged with the responsibility to provide for just and fair treatment in the administration of the Sandy City zoning ordinances, and to ensure that substantial justice is done.
The purpose of the Board of Appeals is to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions, or determinations by the Chief Building Official to the application and interpretation of the Building Code.
The Sandy City Public Utilities Advisory Board monthly reviews the operations, capital improvement projects, water production, and financial budgets. The Board is to advise the City Council on legislative matters and the Mayor on administrative matters.
