The Family Crimes and Intervention Unit is a specialized team within the Sandy City Police Department that was created to help support the Sandy City community as it continues to grow.

This team is comprised of victim advocates, a therapist, a child advocate and a detective specially assigned to work in the unit. This unit provides services to victims of:

Burglary
Child Abuse
Domestic Violence
Elderly Abuse
Harassment
Robbery
Sexual Assault
Stalking
Threats
Etc.

Services

Our advocates provide crucial victim-focused services to those in need including crisis intervention, referrals to community resources and wraparound services to support families, collaboration between community partners, and providing therapy for at-risk children or individuals

Investigations
